Title: ●Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program (FLTCIP) Regulation: Abbreviated Underwriting, Applications for Enrollment, and Technical Corrections | |
Abstract:
The FLTCIP regulation needs changes that would support program stability and flexibility. There are three categories of changes in the proposed regulation. First, there are changes to abbreviated underwriting in order to increase program stability. Second, the proposal would establish rules for suspension of applications for FLTCIP enrollment and identify the requirements around any such suspension periods. Third, there are technical corrections for clarity and to remove redundancies. |
