Title: Transfer and Adoption of Military Animals (DFARS Case 2020-D021)  
Abstract:

DoD is proposing to amend the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement to implement section 372(f) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2020, which revises 10 U.S.C. 2410r to require a contract term for the transfer, veterinary screening and care, and adoption of contract working dogs after the service life of the dog has ended.
