Title: Regulations Implementing the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES); Incorporating Provisions Implementing the Results of CoP16, CoP17, and CoP18
Abstract:

This proposed rule would revise regulations implementing the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) by incorporating provisions related to the results of the sixteenth through eighteenth meetings of the Conference of the Parties (CoP16 through CoP18). The revised regulations would help us more effectively promote species conservation, fulfill FWS's responsibilities under CITES, and help those affected by CITES to understand how to conduct lawful international trade in wildlife and wildlife products.
