Title: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Removal of the Okaloosa Darter From the Federal List of Endangered and Threatened Wildlife | |
Abstract:
This rule would make a determination on our proposal to remove the Okaloosa darter (Etheostoma okaloosae), a fish, from listing under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended (Act), due to recovery. Our review of the best available scientific and commercial data indicates that the threats to the species have been eliminated or reduced to the point that the species no longer meets the definition of a threatened or endangered species under the Act. The Okaloosa darter is found in Florida. |
