DOJ/DEA RIN: 1117-AB58 Publication ID: Fall 2021
Title: Submission of DEA Registration Forms Via Electronic Means
Abstract:

The DEA is issuing this rule to simplify the form submission process to match with regulatory changes to submissions for DEA Forms 106 and 107. Currently, the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) outlines the Registration Form (DEA 224/224a, 225/225s, 363/363a, and 510/510a) submission process as being either through the secure online database, or with physical copies delivered to the nearest DEA Field Office. This proposed rule will amend the CFR to make clear to registrants that all Registration Form submissions must go through the secure online database, and physical copies will no longer be accepted. Through the secure online database, submissions of forms will be more easily submitted and organized.
