DOJ/DEA RIN: 1117-AB63 Publication ID: Fall 2021
Title: Termination of Registration Upon Discontinuation of Business or Change of Ownership
Abstract:

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is proposing to modify its regulations regarding the automatic termination of DEA registrations resulting from a change of ownership for a registrant business organization in order to clarify how a change of ownership for a registrant business organization will affect the registrant’s DEA registration.  The proposed language will provide greater clarity for DEA registrants and prevent individuals and entities from acquiring DEA registrations without prior DEA review
