Title: Test Procedures for Automatic Commercial Ice Makers 
Abstract:

Pursuant to the 7-year look-back provision in the Energy Policy and Conservation Act (EPCA)(42 U.S.C. 6314(a)(1)(A)), the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is evaluating the test procedures for automatic commercial ice makers (ACIM) to determine whether amended test procedures for ACIM would more accurately or fully comply with the requirements in EPCA that test procedures: (1) be reasonably designed to produce test results which reflect energy use during a representative average use cycle; and (2) not be unduly burdensome to conduct.
