Title: Test Procedure for Dishwashers
Abstract:

Consistent with the requirements of the Energy Policy and Conservation Act (EPCA), as amended, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is initiating an effort to determine whether amendments to the dishwasher test procedure are warranted.  As a result of this proceeding, DOE may propose and amend the test procedure for this product or issue a determination that no amendments to the current test procedure are required. Once completed, this rulemaking will fulfill DOE’s statutory obligation to either propose an amended test procedure for this product or determine that the existing test procedure does not need to be amended.
