Title: Alternative Work Practices for Leak Detection and Repair Amendments | |
Abstract:
On December 22, 2008, EPA published a voluntary alternative work practice for leak detection and repair using a newly developed technology, optical gas imaging. Since promulgation, advancements have been made in leak detection technologies that warrant review of the alternative work practice. Additionally, the agency received a request for administrative reconsideration from American Petroleum Institute (API) on February 20, 2009. This package would update the alternative work practice as appropriate based on the review and address the issues raised for reconsideration. |
