Title: Drug and Alcohol Testing of Mechanical Employees 
Abstract: This rule responds to Section 8102 of the Substance Use-Disorder Prevention that Promotes Opioid Recovery and Treatment for Patients and Communities Act (SUPPORT Act), which requires DOT to expand its drug and alcohol testing regulations to cover all employees of railroad carriers who perform mechanical activities. This rule would also define the term, "mechanical activities", as the statute requires.
