This rulemaking would implement the requirements of section 4202 of the Johnny Isakson and David P. Roe, M.D. Veterans Health Care and Benefits Improvement Act of 2020 (the Act), Public Law 116-315, codified at 38 U.S.C. 2022A. These regulations will specify grant eligibility criteria, application requirements, scoring criteria, constraints on the allocation and use of the funds, and other requirements necessary to implement the grant program titled the "Legal Services for Homeless Veterans and Veterans At-Risk for Homelessness Grant Program."

Overall Description of Deadline: Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment (January 5, 2021) of the Johnny Isakson and David P. Roe, M.D. Veterans Health Care and Benefits Improvement Act of 2020 (the Act), Public Law 116-315, the Secretary of Veterans Affairs shall establish and publish in the Federal Register the criteria and requirements pursuant to subsection (b)(1) of 38 U.S.C. 2022A.
