Title: Pandemic Assistance Programs | |
Abstract:
USDA will provide additional direct financial assistance to producers of agricultural commodities who suffered eligible revenue losses in calendar year 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic; this will expand on the assistance USDA provided last year. Payments will be made using funds under the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 (CAA; Pub. L. 116-260). In addition, the rule will also update the regulations for the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP); Biomass Crop Assistance Program (BCAP); Emergency Conservation Program (ECP); Emergency Assistance for Livestock, Honeybees, and Farm-Raised Fish Program (ELAP); Livestock Forage Disaster Program (LFP); Livestock Indemnity Program (LIP); Noninsured Crop Disaster Assistance Program (NAP); and payment eligibility provisions. |
