Title: Investigating and Processing Certain Noncontractual Claims and Reporting Related Litigation 
Abstract:

This action will remove a part of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) last updated June 3, 1974 (39 FR 19470), describing Department of Defense (DoD) policy for investigating and processing claims and related litigation addressing the loss, damage, destruction, or theft of government property. DLA has determined it has adequate current policies and procedures in place to address claims and litigation associated with the loss, damage, destruction, or theft of government property via an instruction (DLAI 5000.65) which can be found at https://hqc.dla.mil/issuances/Documents/i5000.65.pdf.
