Title: Commissary Credit and Debit Card User Fee | |
Abstract:
This rule proposes to revise 32 CFR part 225 to extend access to the Department of Defense’s commissary stores and morale, welfare, and recreation (MWR) facilities to patrons identified in statutes enacted after the interim final rule published on December 30, 2019 (84 FR 71819-71822), which implemented section 621 of the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2019 to expand commissary access and authorize the collection of user fees. This rule will also set out any exceptions for specific groups of patrons identified in these other statutes. These other patrons are also subject to user fees at Department of Defense commissaries to offset the costs associated with the increase in credit and debit card transactions. |
