Title: ●Privacy Act of 1974; Nine Rule Rescindments 
Abstract:

On December 22, 2021 (86 FR 72536-72540), DoD published a rule titled "Privacy Act of 1974; Implementation" that proposed to exempt DoD-0008, Freedom of Information Act and Privacy Act Records, and an accompanying System of Records Notice (SORN) (86 FR 72586-72589). Due to the publication of the exemption rule and SORN, this direct final rule will rescind nine Freedom of Information/Privacy Act rules from 32 CFR part 310. The DoD is publishing this as a direct final rule, because we do not expect to receive any significant adverse comments.
