Title: Regulations for the Protection, Management, and Control of Wild Horses and Burros
Abstract:

This proposed rule would update the BLM's regulations to reflect changes to the Wild Free-Roaming Horses and Burros Act in recent decades.  These regulations largely have not been updated since 1986.  This rule would address wild horse and burro management challenges by adding regulatory tools that better reflect the BLM’s current statutory authorities.
