Title: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Reclassification of Island Bedstraw and Santa Cruz Island Dudleya | |
Abstract:
FWS is reassessing the listing status of the island bedstraw (Galium buxifolium) and Santa Cruz dudleya (Dudleya nesiotica), listed as threatened under the Endangered Species Act. The status determination will be based on the best available information as of the time of publication. Based on the assessment, FWS may propose to delist these plant species, unless FWS determines no change in status is warranted. The island bedstraw and the Santa Cruz Island dudleya are found on the Channel Islands off the coast of California.
