Title: Migratory Bird Permits; Possession and Educational Use | |
Abstract:
This proposed rule would promulgate new permit regulations to authorize the possession and use of migratory birds in educational programs and exhibits. Although an educational use permit system exists under special purpose permits regulations, FWS is revising those regulations. Therefore, this new standalone educational use regulation will be needed to resolve outstanding regulatory needs after the revisions to the special purpose permits regulations are finalized. FWS may also include some clarifying language that may apply to the public exhibition of eagles. |
