Title: ●Seizure and Forfeiture Procedures | |
Abstract:
This proposed rule would amend the regulations in 50 CFR part 12 that establish procedures relating to property seized or subject to administrative forfeiture under various laws enforced by FWS. This revision is intended to provide uniform guidance for the bonded release, appraisement, administrative proceeding, petition for remission, and disposal of items subject to forfeiture. Also, these revisions are intended to provide for greater consistency of FWS seizure and forfeiture procedures with those of U.S. Customs and Border Protection. |
