Title: Economic and Other Functions: Electronic Filing of Trade Documents for Shrimp and Products From Shrimp
Abstract:

The Department is proposing regulations to revise procedures and requirements for filing import documentation for shrimp and products from shrimp to meet requirements under section 609 of Public Law 101-162. Specifically, the Department proposes to integrate the collection of trade documentation within the Governmentwide International Trade Data System (ITDS) and require electronic information collection through the automated portal maintained by the Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Finally, the proposed rule would include an update of all the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) numbers to which the DS-2031 applies.
