Title: Test Procedure for Air Compressors
Abstract:

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is required to review its test procedures for air compressors once every 7 years under the Energy Policy and Conservation Act (EPCA), as amended. In this rulemaking, DOE is reviewing its test procedures for air compressors and considering whether to update the air compressor test procedures under subpart T of 10 CFR part 431 or issue a determination that no amendments to the current test procedure are required. Once completed, this rulemaking will fulfill DOE’s statutory obligation to either propose amended test procedures for this product or determine that the existing test procedures do not need to be amended.
