Title: ●Energy Conservation Standards for Fans and Blowers | |
Abstract:
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is initiating a rulemaking to consider establishing initial energy conservation standards for fans and blowers. DOE has determined that fans and blowers qualify as a covered equipment under Part A-1 of Title III of the Energy Policy and Conservation Act, as amended. In considering new standards, DOE must evaluate a future proposal against the criteria of 42 U.S.C. 6295(o), and follow the rulemaking procedures set out in 42 U.S.C. 6295(p) (42 U.S.C. 6316(a)). |
