EPA/OAR RIN: 2060-AV66 Publication ID: Spring 2022
Title: ●Redesignation of Stark County, Ohio for the 2008 Lead (Pb) National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS)
Abstract:

In 2011, Stark County, Ohio was designated unclassifiable/attainment for the 2008 Lead NAAQS. EPA is considering a discretionary redesignation for (portions of) Stark County, Ohio for the 2008 lead NAAQS under Clean Air Act section 107(d)(3) based on current monitoring data and other air quality factors. If the area is redesignated to nonattainment, the state will be required to submit a State Implementation Plan that identifies control measures to bring the area into attainment with the 2008 lead NAAQS.
