Title: Nonprofit Agency Compliance Reporting and Disqualification | |
Abstract:
The Committee for Purchase from People Who Are Blind or Severely Disabled (Committee) is requesting comment on the conditions or factors of nonprofit agency performance leading to possible suspension or disqualification from the AbilityOne Program. The Committee is exploring a system of temporary suspension or permanent disqualification. The Committee is also requesting comment on how to report certain alleged or proven violations against nonprofit agencies. The Committee also requests comment on requiring nonprofit agency reporting requirements as a condition to maintain AbilityOne Program qualification, requiring all qualified nonprofit agencies in the AbilityOne Program to establish and maintain a Contractor Code of Business Ethics and Conduct, that nonprofit agencies must provide timely disclosure of alleged contractor violations to the Committee, as well as other requirements involving compliance and disqualification. |
