OPM RIN: 3206-AO44 Publication ID: Spring 2022
Title: ●Federal Executive Boards
Abstract:

FEBs enhance communication, coordination, and collaboration among Federal agencies across the country.  FEBs advance Federal initiatives (i.e., President’s Management Agenda) and programs outside of Washington, DC.  FEBs identify strategic partners, bring them together, and facilitate collaboration to achieve common goals under the direction of the Office of Personnel Management.  Since the regulations were last updated on December 27, 2001, a new shared governance structure was proposed between the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, the U.S. Office of Management and Budget, and the U.S. General Services Administration to provide the FEBs with strengthened and integrated strategic direction. This proposed approach to managing and supporting FEBs will require amending the regulations at 5 CFR Part 960.
