Title: Modify Gulf of Mexico Red Snapper Annual Catch Limits
Abstract:

The proposed rule would increase the Gulf of Mexico (Gulf) red snapper overfishing limit, acceptable biological catch, annual catch limits, and annual catch targets consistent with the red snapper interim analysis and subsequent Gulf of Mexico Fishery Management Council Science and Statistical Committee recommendations.  The need for the rule is to establish catch limits that achieve optimum yield while preventing overfishing consistent with the requirements of the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act.
