Title: Revisions to Subpart J--Pipelines and Pipeline Rights-of-Way
Abstract:

This proposed rule would identify opportunities for improving safety, environmental protections, and equipment reliability, within the Pipelines and Pipeline Rights-of-Way regulations under 30 CFR 250 subpart J. This rule would incorporate several guidance documents and conditions of approval and update industry standards incorporated by reference into the regulations.  This rulemaking rule would result in an up-to-date set of pipeline regulations that reflect current industry practices and BSEE policies that address topics such as pipeline permitting, design, installation, maintenance, inspections, and decommissioning.
