Title: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Threatened Species Status With Section 4(d) Rule for Florida Keys Mole Skink and Designation of Critical Habitat
Abstract:

FWS will make a final determination on our proposal to list the Florida Keys mole skink (Plestiodon egregius egregius) as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended, with a rule issued under section 4(d) of the Act. If we finalize this rule as proposed, it would add this species to the List of Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and extend the Act’s protections to the species. We will also make a final determination on our proposal to designate approximately 7,068 acres (2,860 hectares) as critical habitat for the Florida Keys mole skink under the Act within Monroe County in the Florida Keys, Florida.
