Title: Civil Penalties; 2023 Inflation Adjustments for Civil Monetary Penalties 
Abstract:

In accordance with statutory requirements, this final rule adjusts for inflation the statutory civil monetary penalties that may be assessed for violations of FWS-administered statutes and their implementing regulations. This rule replaces the previously issued amounts with the updated amounts after using the inflation adjustment multiplier provided by the Office of Management and Budget.
