Title: Wupatki National Monument; Backcountry Use | |
Abstract:
This rule would promulgate special regulations for Wupatki National Monument to prohibit visitor access to the backcountry, except by permit and guided trips. The Superintendent of the Monument has restricted access to the backcountry in this manner since 1996 in order to protect the archeological sites and historical resources within the Monument. |
