Title: Addition of Singani to the Standards of Identity for Distilled Spirits | |
Abstract:
The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau is publishing a final rule following its proposal to add "Singani" to its labeling regulations as a type of brandy that is a distinctive product of Bolivia that must be produced in accordance with Bolivia's laws and regulations governing its production for consumption in that country. Under the proposal, which is in response to a petition, the label could identify the class and type of the product as "Singani" without the need to further identify the product as "brandy." |
