Title: AbilityOne Program; Determining Whether Commodities Are "Essentially the Same" | |
Abstract:
The Committee for Purchase From People Who Are Blind or Severely Disabled (Committee), which administers the AbilityOne Program, intends to issue a rule defining "Essentially the Same," a term currently undefined in the Committee’s regulation but used in guidance. By clearly defining the term, the Committee will increase Federal agencies’ understanding of the scope of the Committee’s Procurement List mandatory source purchasing requirements, which will facilitate increased compliance with these requirements. |
