Abstract:

DoD is proposing to amend the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement to implement section 345 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2023, which restricts DoD from procuring certain personal-protective firefighting equipment containing an intentionally added perfluoroalkyl or polyfluoroalkyl substance, effective October 1, 2026.
