Title: ●Privacy Act of 1974; Rule Rescindment
Abstract:

The Department of Defense (DoD) is rescinding exemption rules previously established to exempt one or more DoD system(s) of records notices (SORNs) from provisions of the Privacy Act of 1974. Due to the rescindment of one or more exempt DoD SORNs, the associated exemption rules for those SORNs are being rescinded as well. This rule is being published as a direct final rule as the DoD does not expect to receive any significant adverse comments. If such comments are received, this direct final rule will be withdrawn and a proposed rule for comments will be published in the Federal Register.
