Title: Updating Refugee Resettlement Program Requirements
Abstract:

This rule would increase equitable access to and delivery of benefits and services among states; add clarity to the administration of refugee programs to efficiently serve eligible populations in complement with other federal and state programs; and enhance services designed to facilitate not only early employment but also career advancement, wellbeing, and integration. The rule would also remove outdated provisions and requirements of the Refugee Resettlement Program regulation related to the unaccompanied refugee minors program, refugee medical and cash assistance, the Cuban/Haitian entrant program, and the State Legalization Impact Assistance Grants program.
