Title: Use of Federal Property to Assist the Homeless | |
Abstract:
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is revising 45 CFR part 12a to coincide with the Federal Assets Sales and Transfer Act of 2016 (HR 4465 (Pub. L. 114-287)). HR 4465 (Pub. L. 114-287) established the Public Building Reform Board to identify opportunities for the Federal Government to reduce its inventory of real property and reduce cost. As a result, the board has set new program goals and guidelines for the Public Benefits Conveyance (PBC) programs. To comply, HHS has amended the application process and guidelines for its existing Public Benefits Conveyance (PBC) program. To coincide with HR 4465 (Pub. L. 114-287), DHHS has made changes to the application submission guidelines, and, application review timeline, in addition to providing new guidance on the submission of financial information. |
