Title: Restrictions on Certain Uses of Hydrofluorocarbons Under Subsection (i) of the American Innovation and Manufacturing Act | |
Abstract:
EPA is finalizing a rule that will in part respond to petitions granted under subsection (i) of the American Innovation and Manufacturing (AIM) Act of 2020, enacted on December 27, 2020. Specifically, EPA is finalizing a rule restricting, fully, partially, or on a graduated schedule, the use of HFCs in sectors or subsectors including the refrigeration, air conditioning, aerosol, and foam sectors, and establishing recordkeeping and reporting requirements, and addressing other related elements of the AIM Act. |
