Title: ●Review of Requirements Applicable to Pesticide-Treated Seeds and Other Treated Articles
Abstract:

In its response to a petition received under the Administrative Procedures Act (APA) from the Center for Food Safety, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced its intent to develop an advance notice of proposed rulemaking under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) to solicit suggestions and information from the public and stakeholders on the use and usage of pesticide treated seeds and treated articles, whether or to what extent pesticide-treated seeds and articles are being distributed, sold, and used in a manner inconsistent with the instructions on the treating pesticide labeling. This information will be used to review the existing applicable requirements to assess whether EPA should consider pursuing the development of amendments to those requirements.
