Title: AmeriCorps Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA) New Project Regulations 
Abstract:

This final rule will provide CNCS's interpretation of 108(b) of the Domestic Volunteer Services Act (DVSA). Current interpretation prevents AmeriCorps VISTA from providing grant funds to new grantees that are less than one year old, creating a barrier for new projects to apply for new VISTA funding. New regulations will provide a clearer interpretation of the relevant provisions of the DVSA and eliminate this barrier to funding new projects.
