Title: ●Tribe or Tribal Organization Sponsor Option for Watershed Projects 
Abstract:

The Natural Resource Conservation Service is amending its regulations for watershed projects to allow Indian Tribes or Tribal organizations to sponsor needed watershed projects for their areas.  Tribes or Tribal organizations do not always have eminent domain authority, which has been one of the requirements to be a watershed project sponsor.  This rule change would provide an option to allow Tribes or Tribal organizations to become watershed project sponsors.
