Title: ●Climate Resilience and Carbon Stewardship on National Forest System Lands 
Abstract:

The Forest Service is proposing to add a new part to 36 CFR, chapter II (part 281) that would provide a framework for consideration of carbon stewardship, informed by carbon science, to provide for increased biogenic carbon uptake, storage, or stabilization through land-use and vegetation management strategies on National Forest System lands. This rulemaking is part of Forest Service efforts to tackle the climate crisis.
