Title: Technology Protection Features Activities (DFARS Case 2022-D005) 
Abstract:

DoD is proposing to amend the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement to implement section 831 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2022.  Section 831 provides that DoD may designate as allowable costs independent research and development costs contractors incur to develop and incorporate technology protection features in a designated system during the research and development phase of the system.
