Title: HHS Adoption of Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards 
Abstract:

This rule will repeal HHS' prior adoption of the OMB guidance and adopt the version updated in Spring 2024. HHS' will adopt 2 CFR 200 at 2 CFR part 300, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards. HHS will include 9 previously adopted HHS-specific modifications at 2 CFR 300 and will explain these modifications in the rule’s preamble. At the same time, the rule will correct citations throughout titles 42 and 45 of the CFR. Due to the scope of the changes, the effective date for the rule will be October 1, 2025.
