Title: ●Rules of Practice for Administrative Proceedings Enforcing Labor Standards in Federal and Federally Assisted Construction Contracts and Federal Service Contracts | |
Abstract:
The Rules of Practice for Administrative Proceedings Enforcing Labor Standards in Federal and Federally Assisted Construction Contracts and Federal Service Contracts at 29 CFR part 6 govern practice and procedure in proceedings before United States Department of Labor administrative law judges under the Davis-Bacon Act (DBA), other statutes with DBA prevailing wage requirements (referred to as Related Acts or DBRA), and the Service Contract Act. The Department recently published substantive revisions to the regulations under the DBA and the DBRA, which included a notice and comment period. The Department proposes to update these administrative rules of practice to reflect the recent revisions to the regulations issued under the DBA and DBRA and to modernize provisions related to filing documents. |
