Title: Importations of Pesticides and Pesticidal Devices
Abstract:

This document amends the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations pertaining to the importation of pesticides and pesticidal devices into the United States subject to the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). An importer seeking to import pesticides and devices into the United States must demonstrate compliance with the FIFRA by submitting certain information on a Notice of Arrival of Pesticides and Devices (NOA) to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) prior to arrival and to CBP at the time of entry. CBP, in consultation with EPA, is amending the CBP regulations to enhance administration of the pesticide and device import program under the FIFRA. Specifically, CBP proposes to permit the option of filing an electronic alternative to the NOA paper form with entry documentation in the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) or any other CBP-authorized electronic data interface system.
