Title: Privacy Act of 1974: Implementation of Exemptions; Traveler Encounter Records (TER) System of Records 
Abstract:

This rule proposes to exempt portions of the new Traveler Encounter Records (TER) System of Records from certain requirements of the Privacy Act of 1974. The TER System of Records Notice (SORN) supersedes the Border Crossing Information SORN and covers CBP’s collection of information from individuals who travel (or intend to travel) to the United States and provide information pertinent to that travel directly or indirectly to CBP.
