EPA/OAR RIN: 2060-AS74 Publication ID: Spring 2024
Title: General Revisions to Part 75 Emissions Monitoring and Reporting Requirements, Acid Rain Program Auction and Administrative Provisions, and Mercury and Air Toxics Standards Electronic Reporting
Abstract: In this proposed action, EPA is considering the revision of the part 75 emission monitoring, reporting, and recordkeeping requirements; Acid Rain Program allowance auction and administrative procedures; and Mercury and Air Toxics Standards electronic reporting file formats for some submissions. The proposed part 75 changes may include definitions, incorporations by reference, quality assurance performance specifications, and other administrative changes to correct known errors, clarify requirements, and otherwise modify provisions where necessary to ensure that the requirements remain current and provide flexibility. EPA is considering Acid Rain Program administrative procedure changes that would sunset the annual allowance auction and harmonize some administrative procedures. It is also considering electronic reporting changes for The Mercury and Air Toxics Standards that would allow for additional file formats (e.g., JSON) for some submissions.
