The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is making a correction to a final rule that appeared in the Federal Register on April 17, 2024. The EPA finalized the Other Solid Waste Incinerators (OSWI) New Source Performance Standards/Emission Guidelines; Title V Permitting Provisions final rule which will remove title V permitting requirements for air curtain incinerators (ACI) that burn only wood waste, clean lumber, yard waste, or a mixture of these three types of waste. Following signature of this final rule, EPA discovered inadvertent errors in the regulatory text and is correcting these in this action. This action addresses these errors so that the regulatory text agrees with the description of the rule that the EPA provided in the final rule preamble.
