Title: U.S. Commercial Space Launch Competitiveness Act Incorporation
Abstract: This action would codify current statutory requirements mandated by the U.S. Commercial Space Launch Competitiveness Act of 2015 (CSLCA), and provide greater clarity to affected industry and the public. Specifically, this rulemaking would update definitions relating to commercial space launch and reentry vehicles and occupants, as well as to implement clarifications to financial responsibility requirements. In addition, CSLCA would enable commercial space applicants to retain experimental permits despite issuance of a license.
