Abstract: This proposed rulemaking would update the test procedure for securing child restraints to the standard seat assembly, modify dummy selection criteria in FMVSS No. 213a to be consistent with FMVSS No. 213b, and update qualification tests for the Hybrid III-3-year-old dummy in Part 572 Subpart P.
